Firstly, you need to decide how many members there’ll be. Normally this is around 7-12, It is important to get numbers before booking something. A lot of Experience day companies will offer discounts on large groups, e.g. Spheremania who offer a 10% discounts for 10 or more rolls in a Zorb! You don’t want to miss out on a discount if more people than you originally thought will be attending.

The Spheremania staff are fun loving people, who want nothing more than to make your day as fantastic as possible! There are 14 Zorbing locations across the UK, from the North east right down to the South West, so no need to worry about travelling too far as there will always be a location near you. Most Spheremania locations have other attractions nearby that you may want to visit as well, so why not make a day of it!

Make sure that if you are purchasing a voucher to give as a gift or to use yourself that you have checked all of the voucher terms and conditions. As some of these vouchers can be at discount prices because they are mid-week only, have a short validity period or are site specific only. The standard SphereMania vouchers are sold for anytime and any location, only the special offer vouchers have restrictions on them. If you are going to purchase a voucher, make sure that you read all of the terms and conditions of that voucher!

It is best to check the exact area of the chosen location and check that the activity you have chosen can be done at the closest location to yourself. If you were looking for a Yorkshire experience the closest location to this area would be Leeds, but this location does not have Water Zorbing (Aqua Sphereing).

Be aware that sphereing is a seasonal activity, and runs from April-September and will close for winter. The days that are available to book are mostly weekends and select weekdays (not everyday) dates will vary for each location.

When you book a date or redeem your voucher, there are many things that you can buy that will add to your experience.Sphere cameras are available to capture every second of your experience inside the sphere. If you chose to book the camera for two to be recorded you will get more for your money. We operate in the extreme adventure sport known as ‘Hill Rolling’. This basically involves rolling down a hill at high speed in a large inflatable ball. Spheremania® currently operates all over the UK, and we are not to be confused with any other hill rolling activities.

If you’re looking for something a little gentler and are over 7 years of age then our water ball/ Aqua Sphereing is for you! With up to 30 litres of water and up to 3 participants this ride will have you laughing your head off as you slide around the bottom of the sphere whilst being rolled down a hill! The motion is similar to a giant crazy water slide and a washing machine.

For those adrenaline seekers out there, you may want to try Eclipse Sphereing, if you’re 12 years or over this experience will leave you in a daze of confusion as you roll down a hill in complete darkness! Like the Harness Sphere, you will be harnessed into the Orb and rolled down a hill at speeds up to 30mph!

Aqua Sphereing/ Zorbing is less intense and is not as rough, the minimum age for this activity is 7 years. The Aqua Sphere involves a giant sphere and around 30 litres of water, with 1, 2 or 3 participants. The participant(s) sit at the bottom of the Zorb and are then rolled down the hill. The motion of this is a cross between a giant crazy water slide and a washing machine. This experience will have you laughing your head off all the way to the bottom of the hill. This is not an experience to be missed!

Sphereing runs from April to September and then closes down for the winter season. There are 14 different Sphere locations across the UK to choose from; so no matter where you are, there will always be a location near you. Each location has facilities such as a cafe area, toilets and seating area that participants and spectators can use. And if you would like to bring others to watch you they will be able to sit down and have a hot drink!

Eclipse sphereing is for the nutters out there! This ride is the ultimate adrenaline rush. You will be harnessed up in the same way as the Harness Zorb and attached inside the ball. You will then be rolled down the hill in complete darkness; this ride will have you confused and unsure if you’re upside down or the right way round!
